Administration Assistant Browns Plains

Experienced Administration Assistant required

ABC Electrical is committed to providing service that exceeds industry standards and we are looking for a motivated, full-time Administration Assistant to become a key member of our experienced and friendly team in Browns Plains.

Full-time preferred but part-time available for the right applicant. As an ABC Electrical representative, it is essential that you are well attired and have exceptional customer service skills. We place a high focus on applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM

Location:

Office based position in Browns Plains

Key responsibilities:

  • Receiving and responding to service inquiries from a variety of media including telephone, internet, and e-mail
  • Ensure that all repairs are professionally and efficiently resolved
  • Booking in jobs and creating service call schedules
  • Collection of payments for chargeable repairs and issuing customer tax invoices
  • Information processing and filing related to administration work including the submission of quotes and invoices
  • Effectively communicate with office and service staff to facilitate the above
  • General tidying and cleaning of work area
  • Others duties when required

The successful applicant will have:

  • Initiative, be self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
  • The ability to work as a problem solving, proactive member of a team but can also work autonomously
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and MS Windows 10
  • Strong working knowledge of Chrome internet browser and cloud based office apps
  • Current QLD driver’s license or the right to apply for one

Highly desirable but not essential:

  1. Knowledge of Brisbane, Gold Coast and Logan city suburban locations (training provided)
